Packing list
Equipment to bring for a Trek in general:
- trekking boots (soft ones will be more easy and comfortable)
- some pairs of thick socks
- sandals (always nice to let you feet get enough air after you take off your boots)
- professional walking sticks (depending on your physical condition)
- thermal underwear
- underwear (so easy to get sweaty when you trek)
- sunglasses
- head flashlight (very useful - you can even read in your tent at night)
- fleece jacket (always nice to have)
- goretex jacket
- sleeping bag (from minus 5 to 12 degree Celsius would be the most suitable and feel nicer)
- sleeping mat
- towel
- sunscreen lotion
- steel/plastic waterbottle (max 2 liters)
- medicine (for cold, diarrhorea, bleeding......of course we have first-aid box as well )
- toothbrush with toothpaste
- backpack
- trousers
- bermuda shorts (for walking on hot days)
snacks
- chocolate (Chinese chocolate is never good enough)
- biscuits
- energy bar
- coffee, etc.
All above is available from shops in Lijiang with the exception of boots exceeding size 43, which can be hard to find.
